When aerial mustering pays off
Aerial wins on three station profiles. Remote country where a ground muster takes a week to cover what a helicopter covers in a day. Heavy timber / scrub where stock won't move on the ground without hours of riding. And first-of-season musters where stock are scattered across thousands of hectares and need to be located before they're moved. For tight paddocks with light cover, ground work is often cheaper and easier on stock - aerial pulls ahead as the country gets bigger and rougher.
